NICK BATZDORF’s business card says “Music, Journalism, Audio, Copywriting.” He’s a podcast producer, radio and print journalist, composer, and most recently woodworker (a fun side business making custom studio furniture, mainly desks for composers). Nick was the editor/publisher of Virtual Instruments magazine (RIP). Before that he was editor-in-chief of Recording Magazine for ten-and-a-half years and has been a prolific music industry tech writer for other magazines. He now reports on everything from political economics and supercapacitors to virus-testing biosensors.
