Auto-Tune Mobile Pitch-Correction App for iPad and iPhone is $5?!
In case you missed it last year, Antares’ famous creative tool can be yours for the low low price of almost free
Auto-Tune needs no introduction to musicians, so of course we’ll introduce it anyway as a PSA: it’s that famous real-time pitch-correction processor that Cher put to wonderful off-label effect in “Believe In Me.”
How do you connect it? You can just use the built-in mic and even speakers. But for more advanced setups, this is from Antares’ description:
“Auto-Tune Mobile is Audiobus compatible, allowing Auto-Tune Mobile to work with your other iOS music apps. Auto-Tune Mobile acts as a filter in the “Effects” category, so you can apply pitch correction and the Auto-Tune effect to other Audiobus-compatible apps.
It was tested with IK Multimedia’s iRig and Tascam iXZ microphone audio interfaces, but you should be able to use any audio interface that supports iOS – for example this Metric Halo one that we reviewed recently.
