Watch This: Rob Schwimmer Plays Dueling ContinuuMinis
Every year a select group of musicians from around the world gather for ContinuuCon, the annual conference of Haken Continuum aficionados.
After last year’s event at IRCAM in Paris, ContinuuCon returned this year to the University of North Carolina at Asheville.
After the conference ends and most of the participants have gone home, it’s traditional for the organizers and a few remaining guests to get together for some informal relaxation, and sometimes things get, well, silly. One of those guests was New York-based humorist, pianist, thereminist, and Continuum player Rob Schwimmer. Fortunately thereminist Randy George pulled out his iPhone and shot some footage of Rob hilariously goofing around with a pair of ContinuuMinis, the diminutive budget model of the Haken Continuum that launched at last year’s ContinuuCon. We dare you not to laugh.
