Yes, you can run synths and samples through guitar preamps and amps (physical and software) to good effect!
Nembrini Audio’s Acoustic Voice Guitar Preamp plug-in models six “iconic” acoustic guitars (Martin 0028ec, Gibson L00, Landola J80E, Guild D140CE, Ayers DSR, and Taylor 814CEDLX), along with three mics: Audi ADX 51, Beyerdynamic M201, and Shure SM57. The mics are in different placements.
You can compress the input, dial in distortion, select different pickups and mics, EQ. There’s also modulation, as well as delay and reverb.
Acoustic Voice uses iLok copy protection, and it’s available in AAX, AU, VST2, VST3 for macOS and Windows 7+.
Price: $39 until 8/8/21, $99 after. AuV3 format version for iOS, $10 (going up to $15 8/8).
