Watch Alex Ball’s ARP Documentary for Free
Electromotive: The Story of ARP Instruments examines the rise and fall of a pioneering synthesizer company.
Just after New Year’s Day, Synth and Software announced the forthcoming documentary about the founder of ARP Instruments, Alan R. Pearlman. Clocking in at one hour and 51 minutes, this excellent film premiered earlier this month. We present it here for your viewing pleasure.
Since the timing of the ARP documentary’s release made it impossible to show in theaters, Ball posted it online for free. In return, all he asks is that you consider making a donation to one of our favorite nonprofits, the Alan R. Pearlman Foundation, and get yourself some nice swag in return.
For more on the Alan R. Pearlman Foundation, read our feature story here.
