Yamaha Celebrates 45 Years of Synthesizers
To mark the occasion, they’re hosting an online Facebook event this weekend you won’t want to miss.
On September 22, Yamaha’s world headquarters in Hamamatsu, Japan, will begin streaming live interviews, demos, performances, and much more content in seven-hour blocks. That’s seven hours in Europe, seven hours in North and South America, and seven hours in Asia and the Pacific region.
In the United States, it all begins on Sunday at 1 p.m. Pacific time, 4 p.m. Eastern time.
Learn about the history of Yamaha synths dating back to the SY-1’s debut in 1974. Meet the people who design them and some of the musicians who play them. Hear stories about how your favorite Yamaha synth made it from the drawing board to the showroom. Watch demonstrations from product specialists and be among the first to hear new product announcements. Get a tour of Innovation Road, a unique museum of Yamaha Instruments where the webcast will originate. Watch the Yamaha Synthesizers 45th Anniversary Stream Event at this address on Sunday.
