New Amp Simulations For The Jazz Community
Sonatura Audio has meticulously analyzed a collection of vintage guitar amps – Noir Tones is the first in a set of three plugins dedicated to preserving their sound.
PRESS ANNOUCEMENT
This plugin from Sinatra Audio is based on three amps from the early days of electrified jazz guitar, and has been made in conjunction with The Rocky Mountain Music Museum. Like the museum, the plugin concentrates on clean, articulate vintage sounds, suitable for traditional Jazz, Country, and Folk. Whether it’s hollow-body guitar, steel guitar, or even accordion, this plugin fills a need that few, if any, others are providing. Based on Neural Modeling, circuit emulation, and IRs, this plugin takes the best of all worlds and builds them into a truly useful platform for clean guitar.
The amp section and the speaker/mic section can be individually bypassed for more flexibility, and the three primary mics included are positionable and mixable, along with stereo room mics and a rear mic.
It’s available for VST3, AU, and standalone, for both PC and Mac.
