Bob Moog Tribute Patch Library for Spectrasonics Omnisphere 2: Proceeds to Aid Moogseum
The Moogseum is in Asheville, NC, which was devastated by Hurricane Helene
The Moogseum’s building had only minor damage from Hurricane Helene, but they lost a lot of money from having to close down for a few weeks, and more importantly their foot traffic is way down. That means they’re continuing to lose money. Not good.
From the demos, the Bob Moog Tribute Library (v.2) for Spectrasonics Omnisphere 2 sounds like it would be well worth having even if 100% of its proceeds didn’t benefit the Boog Moog Foundation, which runs the Moogseum and “preserves Bob Moog’s cherished legacy.”
It has “over 1300 stunning sounds for Omnisphere, created by more than 50 of the world’s top synth artists, including Hans Zimmer, Vince Clark, Jean Michel Jarre, Richard Devine, Bernie Worrell, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Michael Boddicker, and many others.”
You do have to appreciate Spectrasonics’ efforts. They came out with another benefit library after Hurricane Katrina destroyed New Orleans and the surrounding area in 2005. It’s really great.
