You read about the acquisition here. In the video above, Michelle Moog-Koussa, Executive Director of the Bob Moog Foundation (and Bob’s daughter) stresses that the foundation has very different goals. They run the Moogseum, but their main mission (from their website) is this:

“Our work is not sales and manufacturing, but inspiring people from all walks of life with Bob’s legacy, and carrying it forward to future generations.”
