Jim Combs

JIM COMBS first started experimenting with tape-based electronic music in the early 1970s, when his first synth was a PAiA 2720/R modular he built from a kit. In the 1980s he was an early adopter of digital synthesis, sampling, and MIDI sequencing. Jim composes, produces, and performs ambient downtempo electronic music under the moniker Sensitive Chaos (sensitivechaos.com). He feels lucky to be able to go back to a ’70s state of mind as a proud owner of a new Korg ARP 2600 FS.
