The Bob Moog Foundation Awarded National Endowment for the Humanities Grant
The Bob Moog Foundation announces it has been awarded a $10,000 grant to enhance the preservation of the Bob Moog Foundation Archives.
The funding will enhance the preservation standards for hundreds of paper objects that are part of the archives’ Dave VanKoevering Collection and Doug Babb Collection. It will also provide augmented housing for over 130 items in the Objects Collection, which includes synthesizers, prototypes, and various clothing items.
The Bob Moog Foundation Archives is a vast and growing collection of over 10,000 historical items including vintage synthesizers, prototypes, schematics, photographs, catalogs, instruction manuals, desktop notebooks, correspondence, reel-to-reel tapes, and much more. The Foundation protects and preserves this collection to share with researchers, journalists, authors, museums, and visitors to its own Moogseum in Asheville, NC.
