ILIO and audio plug-in developer Overloud introduce the latest additions to the TH-U Made In Rock Series: PFL 100 and B-SAB.

The Made In Rock series resurrects the actual amps that shaped rock history, now bringing the legendary rigs of David Gilmour from Pink Floyd and Tony Iommi from Black Sabbath into the hands of modern musicians in these new virtual amp collections. Powered by Overloud’s revolutionary Fluid Capturing technology, this series captures every nuance and emotion of these iconic rigs, seamlessly blending sampling with circuit modeling to deliver an authentic and inspiring experience for today’s musicians and producers. The new Made In Rock products are available for an introductory promo of $39 each or in a bundle of three Made In Rock packs for $79—these prices only last through September 20.

FREE-STANDING PACK—Each TH-U Made In Rock plug-in is both a TH-U expansion pack and a standalone plugin, meaning that it can expand the model list of an existing TH-U installation, or it can also be purchased as a self-contained pack that includes all of the TH-U editing features, including the Rig Player, the Tuner, and the Looper, with no need to have a pre-existing TH-U license.

TH-U Made In Rock – PFL 100

This pack meticulously captures the revered HIWATT* 100 DR103 head, a cornerstone of David Gilmour’s sound during Pink Floyd’s most innovative years. The amplifier, famously used on the 1977 Animals album, is paired with the matched 4×12” Wem* Starfinder cabinet, featuring Fane Crescendo* speakers. Every tonal nuance of this setup has been precisely captured using Overloud’s Fluid Convolution technology for the TH-U platform, which allows users to position microphones in 3D space around the cab and blend them with custom IRs, offering an unparalleled level of control and authenticity.

This pack’s amp is matched with a 4×12” Supergroup cabinet from 1971, fitted with Celestion* G12H speakers. The B-SAB model faithfully reproduces the amp’s dual-channel setup, allowing the Treble and Bass channels to be mixed for a wide range of tones, from searing highs to a thick, distorted low end, capturing the essence and feel of Iommi’s groundbreaking sound.
