In this video, Synth and Software’s Nick Batzdorf discusses the many uses of the new Yamaha YC88 Stage Keyboard with Blake Angelos.
Many of the Synth and Software viewers have been following January’s Believe in Music week. It was the online version of this year’s NAMM Show, where companies often introduce major products.
Well, here’s a great demo of one of them, Yamaha’s YC88 Stage Keyboard. It was done by Blake Angelos, who really shows off what this instrument (and also the 76-key version) can do.
Hint: the YC88 is set up for bread-and-butter keyboard sounds, but it’s also a MIDI controller, and the 88-key version has real weighted, coated wood piano-feeling keys.
Here’s our original report, in case you missed it.
Being, um, big fans of synthesizers and software instruments, we’re very happy to see that there’s still an audience for high-end keyboards.
